Dilators

Cervical dilators from Hayden Medical are used in gynecological procedures to gradually open (dilate) the cervical canal. This widening of the cervix allows healthcare providers to perform various minimally invasive procedures in the uterus or endometrium.

Available in reusable and disposable patterns to cater to provider preference.

These dilators are commonly used in procedures such as:

Endometrial biopsy: Sampling of the endometrium to diagnose uterine abnormalities like heavy bleeding, infertility, or suspected uterine polyps or fibroids.
Hysteroscopy: Insertion of a hysteroscope (thin, lighted telescope) into the uterus for visualization and potential treatment of uterine conditions.
Intrauterine device (IUD) insertion and removal: Placing or removing an IUD for contraception.
Endometrial ablation: Minimally invasive procedure to destroy the lining of the uterus for treating heavy menstrual bleeding.
